ValBill product brand identity
A product brand identity that turns ValBill’s violet-and-ink character into a reusable visual, interface, and interaction language for billing and accounts-receivable products.
Role and scope
Role: Brand-identity development · Scope: Brand language → product system · Applications: Marketing + product UI · Public context: valbill.com
Context
ValBill needed more than a website look. It needed a product brand identity that could give billing, payments, collections, and accounts-receivable experiences one recognizable point of view. The existing violet-and-ink mark became the starting point for a broader visual and interaction language.
From identity to product rules
I translated the brand into usable product decisions: Plus Jakarta Sans for confident display, Inter for clear interface copy, JetBrains Mono for financial data, plus a defined violet, ink, surface, status, spacing, radius, and elevation system. These are identity choices expressed as working rules, not just a presentation layer.
One identity across every touchpoint
The system carries from public storytelling into invoice cards, payment states, collection workflows, primary and secondary actions, metrics, forms, and information hierarchy. The website is one expression of the identity; the product experience is where it earns trust repeatedly.
Built for product development
High-contrast surfaces, visible focus states, redundant status labels, and consistent component geometry give designers and engineers a practical foundation for extending ValBill without inventing a parallel language for each new feature.
Outcome
ValBill now has a product brand identity and implementation-ready design foundation that connects its public presence to the billing and invoice-to-cash experiences it develops. Typography, colour, hierarchy, components, interaction, and accessibility expectations are concrete enough to design and build from.
